Yella Beezy will remain on house arrest for the foreseeable future after a Texas judge denied his request to modify the terms of his bond in his ongoing capital murder case.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the Dallas rapper had asked the court to allow him to leave his home for the sole purpose of attending his minor son’s football games, citing the importance of maintaining family engagement and stability. However, the court denied the motion during a hearing on Friday.
Beezy was released on March 28 after posting a $750,000 bond, following his arrest for allegedly orchestrating the 2020 murder of fellow Dallas rapper Mo3.
The case has continued to make headlines, especially after Kewon Dontrell White—the man accused of carrying out the fatal shooting—was recently seen on a jailhouse livestream, where he appeared to brag about possibly getting out soon.
