Kenya Moore Says Bravo Edited Out Major Threat from Brittany Eady and Claims She Reported It to Producers Immediately!
Kenya Moore is speaking out with new claims about what Bravo viewers didn’t see during her explosive fallout with Brittany Eady on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
In a newly released video shared on her own platform, Kenya alleges that a serious threat made by Brittany Eady during a confrontation early in Season 16 was edited out of the show. The RHOA veteran claims she tried to alert producers after Brittany allegedly made a gun threat that left her visibly shaken.
“I did go to producers,” Kenya insisted. “Number one, when we were there, Porsha and I stayed back while everyone was leaving, and Brit Eady was irate. She was yelling and screaming, and it was then that I heard her say the following words: ‘That’s why I keep a [pistol] for bi***** like you.’”
According to Kenya, the threat didn’t make it into the final cut of the episode. “You didn’t hear it. I heard it. It didn’t make the edit,” she explained. “Not only did I go to the producer then, but I also went to the production company that night.” She also said that fellow cast member Porsha Williams witnessed the exchange and saw how rattled she was afterward. “Porsha can vouch for this,” Kenya added.
“You guys were not there. You don’t know how intense it got. It got so intense.”
Kenya also resurfaced an old video of Brittany, where the newcomer allegedly brags about always carrying a gun. Kenya claimed this contradicts Brittany’s past denial of making any threats and her current on-air persona. “She lied last summer and said this wasn’t her character,” Kenya said.
During a past Watch What Happens Live episode, host Andy Cohen shared that Bravo launched an internal investigation and found no evidence that Brittany had a weapon. But Kenya wasn’t satisfied with the network’s handling of the matter. “To me, that was inadequate,” she said. “They seemingly only asked if she had a gun — which anyone could lie about.”
“I have proof otherwise,” Kenya added, claiming she had evidence that Brittany did possess a firearm. “There was no search. No real investigation.” Kenya also questioned if the situation would have been handled differently on another franchise. “If things had been handled differently,” she said, “I would have never felt the need to protect myself or escalate.”
Despite her stated reasons, many fans and fellow cast members were shocked by Kenya’s response to the situation. At the launch event for her hair spa, Kenya went on the offensive. With Brittany absent, she addressed the incident in front of the crowd, unveiling large poster boards showing explicit and provocative images of Brittany.
One of the images was so graphic Bravo blurred it out and later included a disclaimer, stating the photo could not be shown due to its content.
Kenya described Brittany using terms like “trap ho” and “video ho,” further escalating the tension. The fallout was immediate — Porsha Williams left the event and requested producers pretend she had never attended. As a result of Kenya’s actions, Bravo announced via an on-screen message that they had decided to “cease filming with her this season.”
Despite the backlash, Kenya continues to defend her actions, insisting that she was forced to take matters into her own hands because her safety concerns were dismissed.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
