After months and months of talk about a potential season 4, Apple TV+ has finally confirmed Ted Lasso will be returning to our screens! And this time, Ted’s coaching a women’s team!
So many exclamation marks, I know, but that’s because this is the greatest news ever!
In a press release, the streamer says the team behind the history-making, multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy will reunite with star Jason Sudeikis reprising his role as the loveable Coach.
In a statement, Jason says: “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap’, in season 4, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering wherever they land, is exactly where they’re meant to be.”
Jason also recently appeared on the New Heights Podcast with brothers Travis and Jason Kelce where he said the script for season 4 is currently being written.

He’ll once again also be serving as executive producer alongside Brendan Hunt who stars as Coach Beard, and others. Brett Goldstein who stars as Roy Kent will serve as writer and executive producer.

It’s not clear which cast members will be returning just yet, but here’s hoping for all of them!
