
Financial Times correspondent Charles Clover has moved to London to cover the security and defense beat.
He spent the last decade in Beijing for the publication.
Clover has also worked in Baghdad and as the Middle East and Africa page editor for the FT. He was also previously the Moscow bureau chief. He was the 2011 British Press Awards Foreign Reporter of the Year and won a 2011 Martha Gellhorn Special Award for Journalism for his work on Russian nationalism, and also received a RIA Novosti PressZvanie Award in 2014.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University.
