John Cena admits he got hair transplant after being bullied by fans

John Cena got a hair transplant for a bald spot after being “bullied” by WWE fans.

“You chant and you make me feel small and you embarrass me,” the “Trainwreck” actor said on “The Pat McAfee Show” during the WWE World fan experience in Las Vegas Monday.

“Y’all don’t know what that’s like,” Cena continued. “That is straight-up bullying. That’s just not cool. I don’t like it.”

The pro wrestler, 47, sarcastically added, “So, thank you for bullying me into getting surgical hair replacement. That’s how far y’all push me.”

The “Peacemaker” star — fresh off winning his 17th WWE Championship at WrestleMania 41 on Sunday — said fans made signs mocking him for his bald spot.

“And that’s the thing, when you get [the surgery], your hair falls out because the new ones have to grow,” he explained. “So the old one falls out.”

Cena then turned toward the enthusiastic crowd and said, “And you guys, by the way, thank you for being so aware of my needs and emotions, because you guys ripped me to shreds for a genetic problem that I can’t control.”

He continued, “This isn’t cool. You guys aren’t cool to me. Why do you think I did it? I’m in the Rumble trying to win and [they say], ‘How’s the bald spot?’ Like, that’s not fair. I can’t control that.

“One of you sons of bitches could have pulled me to the side,” Cena quipped.

Though the “Fast X” star claimed to be working on improving his hair situation, he confessed it “takes a while for it to come in.”

“It’s coming in, man. It’s coming. Hopefully, in a couple of months, it looks better,” he said.

Cena declined to tell fans which doctor performed the procedure.

“Once it gets better and I’ve got the long flowing locks, I’ll be like, ‘Yo, go to this guy,’” he explained.

While Cena’s bald spot has been a touchy subject, the pro wrestler infamously appeared almost completely nude at the 2024 Oscars while presenting the award for best costume design.

The WWE star covered his nether regions with a large envelope over a strapless brief to present the ironic award to “Poor Things.”
