Katy Perry Dragged Again, This Time By Miley Cyrus’ Brother

However, Trace didn’t focus too much on Perry’s actions during and after the 11-minute space trip. Instead, he accused her of copying Miley’s career.

Expectedly, Trace’s wild rant generated multiple reactions from netizens, with some agreeing with him while others felt he sounded “insane.”

On Friday, Trace posted a video on his Instagram page expressing how he felt about Perry’s latest moves.

In the clip, the 36-year-old showed off his heavily tattooed upper body and wore a face cap. However, his video wasn’t about showing off his physical features.

He began, “I first knew Katy Perry, though, and her team were lame as f-ck when her career was first dying.”

Trace took a dig at Perry and her team, noting, “And they were like, ‘Hmmm, what can we do? Well, what worked for Miley? She cut her hair off and it broke the internet and everybody freaked out and she bleached it blonde. We should do that with you Katy.”

Mimicking a meeting between Perry and her team, Trace continued, “Katy’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah, we should. Should we do it slightly different?’ ‘No, we’re gonna do it exactly the same!'”

Trace continued by accusing Perry of copying his sister’s previous move to transition into ‘more hip-hop stuff’ when she collaborated with Migos for the 2017 song, “Bon Appétit.”

According to him, Miley already worked with hip-hop acts like Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, and Mike Will Made It on the track “23” and Perry copied her move.

He accused Perry of trying to “do exactly what the f-ck Miley did and blow up. Guess what, it didn’t f-cking work!”

He continued by accusing Perry’s team of trying “some EDM song and some sh-t, because EDM’s hot. Didn’t f-cking work!”

Trace then referenced Perry’s trip to space, alleging that it was another move to resuscitate her career, which ultimately “didn’t work.”

He said, “Now we’re gonna send your a– to space. Didn’t f-cking work! It’s not working. It’s backfiring. Stop!”

Trace captioned the post, “Didn’t work. Try again.”

Several fans took turns commenting on Trace’s scathing comments about Perry copying Miley.

The comments were mixed, with some fans supporting him while others found fault with him.

One supporter said, “I love this,” while another person added, “This is why you are iconic.”

A third person shared, “Damnit I love you Trace lol. Real talk though.”  A fourth fan agreed with Trace, noting, “Miley did it 1st… Katy tried. Sorry Katy.”

However, another fan disagreed with Trace and questioned his sanity. They wrote, “Guess what dude? You sound insane. Congratulations.”

Another person asked, “Who are you again?” A third person added, “You need a welfare check.”

The criticism of the Blue Origin all-female crew’s space flight has been well-documented, but most of it has been directed toward Perry.

The “Dark Horse” singer faced criticism for her actions during the 11-minute flight, including her decision to sing to her co-travelers.

When the spaceship landed, Perry kissed the ground, sparking even more outrage from her critics, who took turns slamming her for being excessive and seeking attention.

One person on X wrote, “Oh, dramatic. You were there for 20 seconds, miss girl,” while another person added, “All that hype for an ELEVEN-MINUTE flight. I thought she was going for a week or something, considering how much people were freaking out.”

The X account of the popular restaurant, Wendy’s, also took jabs at Perry in several X posts.
