Mahindra is firing on all cylinders as tractors join the SUV party.
Total sales of Mahindra Auto rose 17% year-on-year to 84,110 vehicles in May 2025 on the back of SUV sales that grew by a fifth, according to an exchange filing on Sunday.

“Thanks to continued demand for our products, we were able to deliver industry-leading growth across our ICE and BEV portfolio,” Nalinikanth Gollagunta, chief executive of Mahindra’s auto division, said in the filing.
Mahindra’s farm business, meanwhile, grew 10% year-on-year to 40,643 units last month, despite a drop in exports.
Domestic tractor sales rose 10% year-on-year to 38,914 units in May 2025, even as exports fell 8% to 1,729 units, according to an exchange filing.
