Miley Cyrus begins to build anticipation ahead of the release of her forthcoming studio album ‘Something Beautiful’ – set to drop on Friday, May 30, 2025, via Columbia Records – with the unveiling of her latest single ‘End of the World’.
The 13-track project, executive produced by Miley Cyrus and Shawn Everett, promises a unique journey, accompanied by a visual film premiering in June. Directed by Miley alongside Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, the film is a collaboration with XYZ Films, Panos Cosmatos, Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records, and Live Nation.
Earlier this week, Miley unveiled the album’s opening tracks, “Prelude” and “Something Beautiful,” paired with stunning visuals.
Today, she’s dropped the next piece of the puzzle: “End of the World,” a track that continues the album’s operatic and immersive storytelling. Each release follows the album’s sequence, offering fans a curated experience.
Shot by Glen Luchford, the album artwork features Miley in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a nod to the fashion-forward vision of the project.
The visual film showcases custom Mugler designs by Casey Cadwallader, alongside rare pieces from Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa—marking the largest loan of Mugler archival fashion ever granted to an individual. Cinematographer Benoît Debie enhances the project’s bold aesthetic.
