Russell Brand has been charged with rape and sexual assault two years after an investigation against him was launched.
The “Arthur” actor was charged with one count of rape, one count of oral rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault in incidents ranging after four different women came forward, Metropolitan Police said in a statement Friday.
The alleged incidents ranged from 1999 to 2005.
Brand was charged after a bombshell 2023 documentary detailed the stories of four women who came forward with their accusations between 2006 and 2013.
He denied the allegations at the time.
