New longevity fund seeks healthspan-targeting startups

Seveno Capital makes first investment and launches $70m fund focused on ventures that aim to extend human healthspan.

A new longevity-focused investment firm has entered the arena, as Seveno Capital officially launched this week. Backed by a $70 million commitment from its founder, entrepreneur Allen Law, the Singapore-based firm is on a mission to invest in early and growth-stage ventures that support the extension of human healthspan.

In addition to being the founder of Park Hotel Group, which operates around 30 hotels and resorts across the Asia-Pac region, Law is also co-founder of boutique fitness and lifestyle brand collective MOVE [REPEAT] and Chairman of fitness operator REVL Training. His background in hospitality, wellness and fitness led to a growing interest in longevity, which has culminated in his latest role as Principal at Seveno, where he plans to invest $70 million over five years into companies that can holistically improve healthspan.

“This month, UBS reported that alongside AI, ‘longevity’ will be one of the most transformative innovation opportunities of the next ten years, with a total market opportunity that could reach US $8 trillion by the end of the decade,” Law told us. “Seveno Capital is investing with a worldwide purview in transformative businesses across all investment verticals and segments that give access to this longevity opportunity.”

Having completed its inaugural investment in Japan-based startup A Cabin Company, Law told us that Seveno has a pipeline of further investments that will be announced over the next few months.

A Cabin Company is populating underused rural land with small, stylish and movable cabins. The concept was of interest to Seveno due to the health benefits associated with time spent in nature, which include reduced stress, improved immune response and better mental health.

“A Cabin Company is creating access to a new lifestyle: effortless, repeatable access to nature and to human connection,” said Law. “Nature is a pillar of lifestyle medicine, and A Cabin Company is rethinking human wellbeing by allowing guests to more easily embed nature and recovery into their daily lives.”

The first of the spaces will launch in Chiba, just outside of Tokyo, with plans to scale to 380 cabins across the Greater Tokyo and Osaka regions by 2029. Future expansions are also on the horizon in Seoul, New York and select European markets.

“People are more anxious, more isolated, and more disconnected from nature than ever before,” said A Cabin Company founder Mori Nishimura. “By 2050 nearly 70% of the world will live in cities, and as cities accelerate, rural life often recedes. With backing from Seveno Capital, we’re unlocking life in the ‘in-between’ – the quiet, often overlooked spaces where the city ends and the wild begins. We call it ‘yohaku’: the margin where calm returns.  It is within these spaces that guests can unwind, reconnect, and remember what it feels like to be human.”
