Imio, which operates the Japanese football brand “SFIDA,” announced on the 3rd that it has raised 300 million yen through a third-party allotment of shares to K-Dash Second as the lead investor, along with Skylight Consulting, 365y, and several angel investors and business companies.

SFIDA, operated by Imio, is a Japanese football brand that started with the manufacture of soccer balls. The brand name comes from “SFIDA,” which means “challenge” in Italian, reflecting the company’s desire to support challenging players.

The brand mainly manufactures futsal and soccer equipment, which are sold at sports mass retailers, specialty stores, lifestyle shops, and their own EC site. In addition to balls and team wear, they offer a wide range of products including shoes and apparel for coaches. The brand emphasizes high quality, high design, and fair trade, and has collaborated with numerous brands, artists, and companies.

Also, aiming to support youth development, they have signed an official partner contract with the All Japan High School Soccer Championship. As of 2025, they have over 130 contracted teams.

Furthermore, the company provides a custom-made service called “SFIDA XU” that allows for the creation of original uniforms. It can be ordered from as little as one piece, with design by 3D simulator and size selection from junior to 4XL, making it easy to use. The uniforms for this service are manufactured only in domestic factories.

Imio plans to use the raised funds to build a new sales platform for youth development that connects teams, players, their guardians, and coaches throughout Japan, utilizing their own EC system. They also plan to promote M&A for the development of consulting/agent business and education/school business, as well as expand business in Asia.
