In response to India’s move to block several Pakistani YouTube channels, the Ministry of Information has taken a bold step by playing Pakistan’s national anthem as advertisements on Indian YouTube channels, according to a report by state broadcaster Radio Pakistan.

The anthem highlights the commitment and strength of the Pakistan Army in defending the country. Its appearance on Indian platforms has stirred significant buzz on social media, with many Indian users criticizing their government for failing to control the narrative.

Pakistan’s digital move is being seen as a strategic win in the ongoing information war, as it manages to get its message across despite India’s attempts to suppress Pakistani content.

Meanwhile, the closure of Pakistani airspace to Indian flights has begun to show serious economic consequences. Over the last nine days, more than 1,000 Indian flights have either been canceled or forced to reroute, resulting in financial losses exceeding ₹2 billion.

The airspace restriction is set to continue until May 23 at midnight and applies not only to Indian airlines but also to planes leased by Indian companies and operating within India.

Major Indian carriers including Air India, IndiGo, Akasa Air, SpiceJet, and Air India Express have had to cancel or divert flights. Many passengers have complained that airlines have not provided refunds for canceled flights, adding to public frustration.
