Rivals Camp Series: Commitment predictions from the Dallas regional

COPPELL, Texas – There were a ton of elite uncommitted prospects at Sunday’s Rivals Camp Series stop in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We make some predictions here.

It’s way too early to make a call here, but Oregon is setting the pace for the touted 2027 defensive lineman. Brewster made his first visit to Eugene last month and the Ducks continue to set the tempo in this recruitment.

Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma have all hosted the four-star DL and will continue to stay on Brewster moving forward.

Prediction: Oregon

Brown is one of the country’s best out of the Sooner State and is coveted by the Sooners in addition to college football bluebloods around the country. Brown has made more trips to the Palace early on and we like where Oklahoma stands long-term here.

The Longhorns just put an offer on the table for Caldwell, who’s been down to the Forty Acres a ton over the years and will return again on June 1. Texas is battling Texas A&M, LSU and Oregon for the blue-chipper in the 2027 Rivals250 and has an early leg up moving forward.

I have an early FutureCast on the Sooners in the race for the four-star edge defender. Alabama and others have closed the gap significantly after Ford made visits across the country this spring. Oklahoma has made Ford a top priority in this 2026 class.

Prediction: Oklahoma

This has the makings of a Red River recruitment and we give the slightest edge to the Longhorns. Mayo was part of Texas’ star-studded junior day earlier this spring and has continued trend high in this recruitment.

Prediction: Texas

The finish line is in sight for Scruggs. If a decision were made today, I like where Clemson sits. Penn State and Michigan are both after the Virginia offensive lineman, who will also officially visit Georgia last before locking in his commitment.
