TOKYO (TR) – Prosecutors have revealed the non-prosecution of actor Ryo Yoshizawa who while drunk trespassed into a neighbor’s apartment in Minato Ward last year, reports TBS News (Mar. 31).
At around 10:30 a.m. on December 30, a resident of the apartment building called police to report that a neighbor had broken into their apartment without permission.
At the time, Yoshizawa lived next door. During questioning, he said, “I was drunk and my memory is unclear.” He added, “I just went in because I wanted to go to the bathroom.”
On February 3, prosecutors chose to not prosecute Yoshizawa. No reason for the non-prosecution was given.
According to his agency, Yoshizawa has already moved out of the apartment. In January, it was revealed that a settlement had been reached with the resident of the apartment next door.
