Shakira has announced she’ll be donating part of the proceeds from her San Antonio concert to disaster relief efforts in Central Texas.

The superstar took to social media after touching down in the city for a rescheduled concert on her ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ tour. In Spanish, she wrote, “I just landed in San Antonio, and I’m devastated after hearing the news of the floods, the deaths and the young girls that are still missing. I can’t help but think about their families and their immense hurt. My prayers are with you on this sad day.”

Shortly after, she confirmed she’d be donating to Catholic Catholic Charities of San Antonio who have set up a fund for families impacted by the deadly flooding. She urged her followers 92.9 million Instagram followers to support any way they can too.

“Dear San Antonio,” she wrote on X. “Our hearts and prayers are with those affected by the flood in Central Texas.”
