In fact, I can’t wait until temps rise again just so I can pull it out of storage.

While I wouldn’t have expected the below-the-hip waistline to be for me, I’ve now become obsessed. Drop-waist dresses have proven to be slimming, flattering and incredibly versatile. I’ve styled mine with Doc Martens, sandals and sneakers.

However, if you’re not quite sold on the look just yet, I’m not giving up. Take a peek at the list ahead, which includes drop-waist minis, midis and maxis from Amazon and Nordstrom, starting at just $30. With so many chic options, you’re bound to find one you love at a price you love!

2. Flower Power: Soly Hux’s sleeveless jacquard dress is decorated with daisies, making it especially sweet for spring or summer. Sizing is also inclusive, ranging from XXS to 4XL.

3. Asymmetrical Stunner: Between the asymmetrical design and the puffy sleeves, English Factory’s option is one of the funkier picks on this list. It comes in 11 colors, but taupe is especially seasonal.

4. Chambray Chic: Hope & Henry’s button-down chambray dress is the perfect entry point for the drop-waist trend. Wear it anywhere with white sneakers or slip-on sandals.

5. Bubbly Beauty: Bubble skirts have made a major comeback, and if you’re feeling nostalgic, this long-sleeve dress is an updated take on the trend. The contrasting skirt and flared sleeves give things a stylish, elevated twist.

6. Have a Cowl: I have lots of love for ASTR the Label’s little black dress, which features a chic, slouchy neck and an unexpected asymmetrical waistline. The modest pick will look extra classy paired with kitten heels or stilettos.

7. Mix It Up: Channel The Parent Trap’s Meredith Blake in a dual-tone design. The flouncy white skirt perfectly offsets the sleek black bodice.

8. Ruffles for Days: Opt for a frilly, one-shoulder dress that gives ’80s prom vibes in the very best way. The head-turning piece is available in three timeless colors — white, cobalt and red — and made of 100% cotton.

Midi & Maxi Must-Haves

10. Pops of Color: It only makes sense that a label called The Drop has perfectly executed this trend. I’m lusting after this sleeveless, breezy number in every one of its eight colors (and 11 sizes!).

11. Tied and Shirred: Go full cottagecore — with a bit of edge — in Topshop’s tiered dress, which includes ties down the sides.

12. Smocked Moment: Chelsea28’s floral, spaghetti-strapped option makes for an elegant wedding guest dress. Be sure to snag one in your size as soon as the invite arrives.

13. Boat-Neck Beauty: This is the quintessential drop-waist dress — and quiet luxury at its finest. The curve-hugging top and lengthening skirt will work wonders for every body type.

14. No Straps, No Prob: Embrace the chocolate color trend with a luxe drop-waist dress from Rare London. The floaty mesh skirt lends a sort of ethereal quality that’s simply irresistible.

15. One-Shoulder Wonder: The silhouette of this sophisticated dress makes it fitting for formal events, but the fabric is soft and stretchy enough to wear comfortably for hours. Oh, and there are pockets!
