Recently, an old photograph of Stellar Blade director Hyung-Tae Kim with Tekken boss Katsuhiro Harada emerged on social media, prompting the latter to comment on it.
“How nostalgic,” Harada wrote. “[Kim] once told me that he liked [the] Tekken Series. I met him again backstage at The Game Awards late last year, and he had become a very calm and refined gentleman. I’m a fan of his work.”
This comment convinced Kim to respond once more, as he proposed himself as a potential future Tekken character – or, at the very least, Eve:
“Thank you for remembering me. In truth, I have been devoting myself to real sparring in the shadows, preparing to continue entering Tekken! If my own participation proves impossible, then I must ask you please allow Eve to take the stage in my stead.”
Realistically, we reckon Eve would probably work best in SoulCalibur, as she obviously fights with a sword which doesn’t really jive with Tekken’s focus on martial arts.
But we’re big fans of Stellar Blade so we’re happy to see the protagonist appear wherever possible – as long as Harada and his team focus on adding Tifa first.
