A beachfront condominium in Marina del Rey, California once owned by rock legend Stevie Nicks has listed for $3.9 million, offering a rare glimpse into the early solo years of the Fleetwood Mac star, according to a press release.
The 2,091-square-foot residence, located on Outrigger Street just south of Venice Beach, features two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and direct access to the sand, along with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean.
The home, built in 1974, still reflects the bohemian aesthetic of its former occupant.
Among its period details are a sunken living room, wood-framed windows tilted to resemble a yacht’s interior, and a bathroom adorned with vintage wallpaper.
A glass-lined balcony faces the water, while the dining area — raised and outfitted with hardwood floors — connects to a carpeted living space.
Nicks occupied the property in the early 1980s as she transitioned into her solo career following her rise to fame with Fleetwood Mac.
The apartment even makes a brief appearance in the music video for “Edge of Seventeen,” from her debut solo album, “Bella Donna.”
BAM Magazine, in a 1981 profile, described the view from the living room as “an endless expanse of sand, ocean and sky.”
Photographs from the period show Nicks in the space, surrounded by tropical plants and recording equipment, dancing in the kitchen and posing at a mirrored vanity. That mirror remains one of the unit’s standout features.
“As we walked into the primary bedroom, glamour hit us as we were met with a completely mirrored wall, mirrored dressing table and mirrored refrigerator … reflecting celebrity life!,” Madeline Schwarzman, who purchased the condo with her husband, Philip, from Nicks in 1982, told Mansion Global, which reported on the listing.
The listing is held by Elana Besserman and Shelton Wilder of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California.
Besserman is uniquely connected to the unit — she was born there and lived in the apartment until the age of 5, when her parents moved one floor up. They later purchased the upstairs unit in 1991.
“It still feels very artistic and different,” Besserman said of the building’s creative atmosphere.
“Even in my parents’ unit, people are always struck by the style, because it’s very much an artist building.”
The building contains just three units on a single level, a level of privacy that’s rare for oceanfront properties in Los Angeles.
“The privacy of the building with only 3 units and all one level is something very rare for an on-the-beach property,” Besserman told The Post.
Residents also have access to a shared rooftop and designated parking, including guest spaces in a nearby lot — an especially valuable feature in the often-congested beach zone.
“The views are the price of admission. All you see is beautiful, white sand and the waves crashing,” Wilder told The Post in an email.
Though it’s unclear exactly when Nicks acquired the property, listing agents and archival materials suggest she lived there for several years during the early 1980s.
“Elana’s parents purchased Unit 2 in 1982 from Stevie and then bought unit 3 in 1991,” Wilder said. “No idea when Stevie bought it but based on the images of her in the space and the interviews that reference the home, she lived there for a few years.”
Now 76, Nicks remains based in Los Angeles and recently announced at the Pollstar Awards — where she was inducted into the Hall of Fame — that she’s working on her first album in more than 10 years.
Her inspiration came, she said, after being evacuated from her Pacific Palisades home during a wildfire and spending 92 days in a hotel room.
