SUSTAINABLEME, which supports wellbeing management, announced on the 24th that it has raised funding through a third-party allocation of shares to East Ventures. With this funding, the company will accelerate the development of a new platform to support corporate wellbeing management.

In recent years, the importance of human capital management has increased, making the improvement of employee wellbeing essential as a corporate growth strategy. However, traditional health management measures often remain limited to general mental health and lifestyle disease prevention, and there may not be sufficient mechanisms in place to respond to changes in the physiological and psychological conditions of individual employees.

Therefore, SUSTAINABLEME is building a new platform that visualizes the condition of working people and their workplace environment through data, providing individually optimized health support. Taking into account the impact of aging and life stage changes on physical and mental conditions, it provides an environment where companies can strategically promote wellbeing management.

According to estimates by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, economic losses due to women’s specific health issues amount to approximately 3.4 trillion yen annually, and the loss due to women leaving their jobs because of menopausal symptoms is estimated at about 1 trillion yen (link is to PDF). For men as well, health changes due to aging have been shown to affect work performance and career continuation.

The services provided by the company are based on two pillars: “Sex Hormone Check” and “Work Performance SURVEY (WP_SURVEY).” The “Sex Hormone Check” is a test that helps identify early on the causes of performance decline arising from hormone imbalances that can occur in all working people regardless of gender, allowing for checking sex hormone levels that are not covered by regular health examinations.

On the other hand, “WP_SURVEY” is a tool that visualizes labor performance from multiple perspectives, including not only the business aspect but also physical and mental health, and engagement. By combining these, individual and organizational issues can be visualized from two axes—physical (sex hormones) and performance—leading to appropriate countermeasures.

The main benefits expected from implementing the service include preventing turnover, improving productivity, retaining talent, recruitment branding, and support for obtaining certification as an excellent health management corporation. By early detection of hormone imbalances due to menopause, PMS, excessive stress, etc., the risk of employee sick leave and turnover due to poor health can be reduced, and the service can also be used as evidence to objectively demonstrate health management initiatives.

With this funding, SUSTAINABLEME will accelerate the development of its wellbeing support platform, strengthen partnerships and collaborations with companies, and execute a business growth strategy aimed at market expansion and nationwide deployment.
