Video game companies are often remastering or remaking some of their most successful or beloved games these days. The latest is a remaster of a PS2 and PS3 cult classic adventure game that will get a PS5 release later this year.
Syberia Remastered PS5 release date revealed
Microids announced Syberia Remastered, a revival of the popular 2002 adventure game. Along with a new video that compares the original version with the remaster is the reveal of its release date. PS5 players can expect to play the game on November 6. Check out the trailer below to see how Microids and co-developer Virtuallyz Gaming brought Syberia to modern platforms.
There will be a Limited Edition physical edition of Syberia Remastered. However, it will only be available in the U.K. This version will come with the game and a mediabook that features art for the game. Pricing for both the digital and physical versions has not yet been announced, but it can be wishlisted on the PS Store.

When Syberia was originally released for PC in 2002, its reception was favorable. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 82 across 26 critic reviews.
This is not the first time Microids has revisited one of its classic adventure games. Just this year, the company released Amerzone – The Explorer’s Legacy, a remake of the 1999 game. It is also the predecessor of the Syberia series, making it a good starting point for anyone interested in checking out Syberia Remastered.
