Two Pronounced Dead after DUI Accident near Magnolia Avenue

ANAHEIM, CA (April 22, 2025) – Saturday night, a toddler and an elderly man were killed in a DUI collision on 5 Freeway.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m., near Magnolia Avenue.

Police officers say the female driver of a white Chevrolet SUV lost control and crashed into a nearby Ford SUV that was carrying five people.

Footage from the scene indicates that the Chevy overturned multiple times before landing in an embankment.

First responders located both severely damaged vehicles, and debris scattered across the roadway. Despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced a toddler and an elderly man inside the Ford deceased.

Following preliminary duties, crews suspect that the Chevy driver was under the influence.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further information is still currently underway. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.
