We see new waves of technologies in ZGC Forum

During the 2025 Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum), scholars and experts from all over the world gather in Beijing to discuss the future of cutting-edge technologies. Simon Redfern, dean of the College of Science at Nanyang Technological University pointed out that the ZGC Forum showcased China’s success in science and technology, and pushed forward the application of data and technologies.

Seeram Ramakrishna, professor at NUS and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, concluded that the forum is more targeted, focusing on AI, robotics, quantum computing, new materials and nanotechnology, which will change people’s way of life in the coming decades.

Jeffrey Robens, lead trainer and senior editorial development manager at Nature Portfolio, thought the forum is fascinating because it discussed how technologies can be applied outside of the research and be used for large enterprises. (Chen Tianhao)
