Ashes of Creation extends its current phase of alpha testing while placing the next phase in August

The second phase of Ashes of Creation’s testing in Alpha II is not coming to a close; in fact, it’s actually expanding, according to the latest announcement from Intrepid Studios. The second phase will actually be expanded through August 4th, which is the date when the third phase of testing will kick off. This is meant to allow the developers time to implement and test more features including economy and stat balancing efforts, the introduction of a second starting area for players, and dynamic gridding for larger player populations.

For the remainder of the second phase, the testing will be on at least a five-day schedule, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays blocked off from testing. There will be times when the servers stay up for longer, however, with announcements to come ahead of those testing days. Once phase three starts, the testing will move to full 24/7 access, so players who are eligible will be able to keep playing through everything. Check out the full announcement to confirm your access if you’re eligible and to double-check the schedule for the next few months during this phase.
